DR Starts Preparations for the 2026 World Baseball Classic

Santo Domingo – The Dominican baseball team will begin its journey to the 2026 World Baseball Classic on February 28. This was announced by the general manager, Nelson Cruz, who detailed the team’s preparation plans.

The concentration of the called-up players will take place in Miami, where the first training sessions will be held. March 1st will be dedicated to official practices, sessions with the media, and final adjustments.

On March 2nd, the delegation will travel to the Dominican Republic to continue its preparation on national territory. This will be a historic moment for Dominican baseball.
