SANTO DOMINGO. After 16 years of experience in Major League Baseball (MLB), Yerik Pérez has ended his working relationship with the organization.
The decision was made by mutual agreement, allowing Pérez to explore new professional opportunities.
During his time in MLB, Pérez played a key role in the growth and strengthening of the organization’s operations in the region.

- Increase in investment: Under his leadership, the annual investment of MLB organizations in the Dominican Republic reached 450 million dollars.
- Strategic agreements: Pérez managed alliances with entities such as the Central Electoral Board (JCE).
- Fraud reduction: He implemented mechanisms to reduce cases of fraud in the hiring of young players.
“My experience in MLB has been one of the most enriching of my professional and personal life. I leave with a deep sense of gratitude towards this great institution and the people with whom I had the privilege of working,” Pérez expressed.
