Arrests at FC Barcelona Title Celebration
Barcelona – A total of seven people were arrested during the celebration of FC Barcelona’s League title near the Canaletes fountain, located on the Rambla in Barcelona. The information was provided by the Mossos d’Esquadra.
Of those arrested, three are accused of robbery with violence or intimidation, another three for theft, and the seventh individual had an outstanding arrest warrant.
The Mossos d’Esquadra deployed a security operation for the event, which included agents from Citizen Security, ARRO, BRIMO, drones, and a helicopter.

More than 5,000 people gathered at Canaletes, the traditional place to celebrate the club’s successes, to celebrate the LaLiga EA Sports championship obtained after the victory against Espanyol (0-2).
Barcelona fans occupied the area of La Rambla near Plaza Catalunya, in the city center, immediately after the end of the match.
The fans sang chants, waved blue and garnet flags, and lit flares. Some climbed the lampposts to celebrate the title.
The first team will celebrate the national treble (Spanish Super Cup, Copa del Rey and LaLiga) with a parade through the city streets on Friday. In addition, they will celebrate with the fans next Sunday at the Olympic Stadium Lluís Companys, after the LaLiga match against Villarreal.
