Todos Estrellas de Consuelo Crowned Champion in San Pedro de Macorís

The Todos Estrellas club from Consuelo won the 43rd Superior Basketball Tournament of San Pedro de Macorís (TBS-SPM 2025), after defeating the Titanes de Miramar with a score of 79-74. This victory gives them their ninth crown in the history of the tournament and the BanReservas Cup. Consuelo’s team demonstrated their superiority by winning two consecutive games in the final series, which was played to the best of five, with a final score of 3-1. All matches were held at the Rolando Ramírez sports center, located in the Tomasito Binet Sports Complex of the city. This victory ends a 15-year title drought for Todos Estrellas, who had already achieved three consecutive championships in 1997, 1998 and 1999, under the direction of José Branche.Daylin Thomas was the tournament’s most valuable player, leading All-Stars with 19 points and six rebounds. Dresly Richardson also had an outstanding performance with 16 points and five rebounds. In addition, Luis Feliz contributed 13 points, four rebounds, and six assists. On the part of the Miramar Titans, Kevin Pérez scored 26 points, followed by Edison Montilla with 19 points and seven rebounds. Misael Saunders achieved a double-double with 12 points and 17 rebounds.

Tournament Details

The 2025 championship of the Sultana del Este, which featured the BanReservas Cup, was presented by Fausto Paulino, Pedro Vázquez, Carlos Dijol, and Provincial Governor Yovanis Baltazar. The tournament was dedicated to former player Ambioris Tejada and In Memoriam to Ramón Pérez Tolentino. Consuelo had an almost perfect season, with a 10-1 record.
