Colombian cyclist Cristian Camilo Muñoz dies

The athlete, 30 years old, passed away in Oviedo, Spain, where he was receiving medical attention following an accident in a competition in France. The Nu Colombia team confirmed the sad news, detailing that Muñoz suffered medical complications derived from the accident that occurred during the Tour du Jura last Saturday. After the fall, Muñoz received initial medical attention in France for an injury to his left knee. Upon arriving in Spain, he was evaluated at a clinic where an infection was detected that required specialized care.
