The Dominican Olympic Committee (COD) has announced that two crucial assemblies will be held on Thursday the 18th of this month in the Juan Ulises García Saleta hall, located at the organization’s headquarters. These meetings will have the active participation of the National Sports Federations. The information was disclosed by the COD executive committee, through a note issued by its press department. This note details the schedules and purposes of each assembly.Extraordinary General Assembly
The Extraordinary General Assembly will begin at 10:00 a.m. This session will be held in compliance with Article 32.4 of the organization’s statutes and Article 14, subsection D, of the regulations of Law 122-05.- Registration of delegates and verification of the quorum.
- Presentation of the audited financial report for the year 2024.
- Report of the Auditor.
Annual Ordinary General Assembly
The Annual Ordinary General Assembly, addressed to the National Sports Federations, is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. This assembly will be held in accordance with articles 24, sub-section A-1, and 25, sub-sections 25.1 and 25.2 of the COD statutes.- Roll call and quorum verification.
- Presentation of the program of activities for the year 2026.
- Review and approval of the 2026 budget of the COD.
