SANTIAGO – Cibao FC demonstrated its offensive power by defeating Universidad O&M with a score of 4-2 in matchday 4 of the Liguilla of the Dominican Republic Football League (LDF-2025-2026). The match, held in the “bombonera” of the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra, was dedicated to Dr. José Rafael Abinader, a prominent sports promoter.
Colombian forward Rivaldo Correa was the figure of the match, scoring a brace that propelled Cibao FC’s victory. Omar De la Cruz and Julio César Murillo also contributed with goals for the home team.

Cibao FC took control of the match from the start, establishing a 4-0 lead. Although Universidad O&M reacted in the final minutes with two goals, the comeback was not enough to avoid the defeat.

With this result, Cibao FC adds seven points, temporarily equaling the leaders of Moca FC. On the other hand, Universidad O&M suffered its third defeat in the Liguilla.
