American power forward Dylan Osetkowski, currently at Partizan Belgrade, has been suspended by the Spanish Anti-Doping Commission (CELAD) after testing positive in a control carried out last season, when he played for Unicaja Malaga. The suspension prevents the player from competing “until further notice”. Partizan Belgrade issued a statement informing about the decision of the CELAD, which sanctions Osetkowski for marijuana use in December 2023, while he was still in Spain. In June 2025, CELAD had concluded a preliminary investigation into the player, indicating that it had “expired” and archiving the proceedings. However, the anti-doping agency has reactivated the case following his signing for Partizan.

Partizan received confirmation from the same institutions that the previous procedure had concluded in favor of the player, which led Dylan to Partizan. On the other hand, the club has not been notified by any of the parties in the procedure about the new case.

Partizan statement
The Serbian club considers that it faces a “new situation”, as Osetkowski will not be able to play basketball. Partizan will announce more information about the next steps to be taken. According to reports, the suspension could be extended “until December 22, 2026” for violating anti-doping rules, although more details are expected. Osetkowski was unable to participate in the Euroleague matchday 28 against Real Madrid. In the European competition, he averaged 6.7 points, 2.6 rebounds and 7.2 valuation with the Serbian team. The player, with a German passport, began his professional career in Germany and then played in France before arriving at Unicaja de Málaga in 2022. In the Málaga team, he was key in obtaining two Copa del Rey titles, two Champions Leagues, a Super Cup, and an Intercontinental Cup.
