American power forward Dylan Osetkowski, currently with Partizan Belgrade, has been suspended by the Spanish Anti-Doping Commission (CELAD) after testing positive in a control carried out during last season, when he played for Unicaja Malaga. The suspension prevents the player from competing “until further notice”. Partizan Belgrade announced the decision of the CELAD, which sanctions Osetkowski for marijuana use in December 2023, while he was still in Spain. In June 2025, CELAD had concluded a preliminary file on the player, declaring it “expired” and archiving the proceedings. However, after his signing by Partizan, the Spanish anti-doping agency has decided to suspend him.

Partizan received confirmation from the same institutions that the previous procedure had concluded in favor of the player, which led Dylan to Partizan. On the other hand, the club has not been notified by any of the parties in the procedure about the new case.

The Balkan club faces a “new situation” and indicates that there is “no possibility of Dylan Osetkowski playing basketball” at the moment. Partizan will announce more details soon. According to sources, Osetkowski’s suspension could be extended “until December 22, 2026 for violating anti-doping rules”. The player would not participate in the Euroleague matchday 28 game against Real Madrid, where coach Joan Peñarroya did not call him up. Osetkowski averaged 6.7 points, 2.6 rebounds and a valuation of 7.2 in the European competition. Osetkowski, born in San Diego with a German passport, began his professional career in Germany and then played in France before arriving at Unicaja de Málaga in 2022. In Málaga, he was a fundamental part of the team led by Ibon Navarro, achieving two Copa del Rey titles, two Champions Leagues, one Supercopa, and one Intercontinental Cup.
