Caribbean Queens debut vs Serbia in Volleyball Nations League

Santo Domingo. The Caribbean Queens begin their participation in the 2025 Women’s Volleyball Nations League this Wednesday. They will face Serbia, currently number 10 in the world ranking. The match is scheduled for 4:00 PM, marking the start of the first round of the international tournament, organized by the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB).

The Dominican team, currently ranked number 11 globally and two-time Pan American champion, arrived at the event venue on Saturday. There, they have been conducting intensive training to optimize their performance.

Under the direction of the experienced coach Marcos Kwiek, the national team will present a mix of veteran players and young prospects.

We will go out in every match to give our best, playing set by set, point by point. We want our young players to gain experience on the most demanding stage of world volleyball.

  • Wednesday, June 4: vs. Serbia (4:00 p.m.)
  • Thursday, June 5: vs. Bulgaria (#20 in the world) (4:00 p.m.)
  • Friday, June 6: vs. Netherlands (#9 in the world) (4:00 p.m.)
  • Saturday, June 7: vs. Japan (#7 in the world) (11:00 a.m.)
