Joao Cancelo Strengthens FC Barcelona: An Expected Return
Barcelona, Spain – Portuguese full-back Joao Cancelo has completed his medical and is preparing to sign his contract with FC Barcelona this Tuesday. The player, who arrives to reinforce the team led by Hansi Flick, will be linked to the club until the end of the season.
Cancelo, 31 years old, was “very happy” to return to the Blaugrana team, where he previously played on loan during the 2023-2024 season. His arrival is seen as a solution to cover the long-term absence of defender Andreas Christensen.
