Bryan de la Cruz Crowned MVP and Receives a Spectacular Award

The Dominican Republic Professional Baseball League (LIDOM) held the official presentation of the season’s Most Valuable Player award. The star outfielder for the Toros del Este, Bryan de la Cruz, was the recipient of the award. The ceremony took place at the Francisco A. Micheli stadium, just before the second game of the Final Series. The event was attended by Vitelio Mejía Ortiz, president of LIDOM, along with José Reyes, brand manager of JAC Passengers in the Dominican Republic, and Jorge Sturla, executive vice president of the Toros del Este.

In addition to the prestigious trophy, De la Cruz was awarded a JAC JS6 2026 model SUV, courtesy of Viamar. The vehicle, a latest-generation SUV, has a 1.5-liter turbo engine, four cylinders, 180 horsepower, a six-speed DCT transmission, paddle shifters, and a torque of 280 NM.

LIDOM highlighted De la Cruz’s extraordinary performance throughout the season, thanking Viamar and JAC Pasajeros for their constant support of Dominican professional baseball.

De la Cruz dominated the voting for the Most Valuable Player award, accumulating 431 points. He obtained 57 first-place votes, six second-place votes, two third-place votes, and one fourth-place vote, demonstrating his superiority over the other candidates.
