FC Barcelona Women Crowned Champions of the Champions League 2026
OSLO – FC Barcelona Femení won the UEFA Women’s Champions League 2026 title after a resounding 4-0 victory over Olympique Lyonnais Féminin in the final held at the Ullevaal Stadion in Oslo. This triumph marks the team’s fourth continental crown in the last six years.
Ewa Pajor, Polish forward, was the undisputed star of the match, scoring two goals in the 55th and 69th minutes. Salma Paralluelo also shone with two goals, sealing the victory in the 90th and 93rd minutes. Goalkeeper Cata Coll had an outstanding performance, making crucial saves to keep Barcelona’s goal unbeaten.
Although Olympique Lyonnais Féminin had moments of control in the first half and even saw a goal disallowed for offside after VAR review, the team led by Pere Romeu demonstrated their ability to react in the second half. Barcelona exhibited effective offensive play and a solid defense, securing the victory.
With this triumph, Barcelona consolidates its leading position in European women’s football, adding a new golden chapter to its recent trajectory. The Catalan club had already won the competition in the 2020/21, 2022/23 and 2023/24 seasons.
