OSLO – FC Barcelona Femení won the UEFA Women’s Champions League 2026 title, after a resounding 4-0 victory over Olympique Lyonnais Féminin in the final held at the Ullevaal Stadion in Oslo. This triumph represents the fourth continental crown for the Catalan team in the last six years.
The standout figure of the match was Polish forward Ewa Pajor, who scored a brace in the 55th and 69th minutes. Salma Paralluelo, from Spain, sealed the victory with two additional goals in the 90th and 93rd minutes. Goalkeeper Cata Coll also played a crucial role, making several important saves to keep Barcelona’s goal undefeated.
Although the French team had moments of dominance in the first half, and even scored a goal that was disallowed for offside after VAR review, the team led by Pere Romeu demonstrated their ability to react in the second half, exhibiting an impressive offensive game and great defensive solidity.
With this victory, Barcelona consolidates its leading position in European women’s football, adding a new golden chapter to its recent trajectory. The Catalan club had already won the tournament in the 2020/21, 2022/23 and 2023/24 seasons.
This triumph also allows the Blaugrana team to close another historic season, establishing itself as one of the main powers of women’s football worldwide.
