Anderson Hernández Will Manage the Dominican Republic National Team in the U-12 World Cup
The Dominican Baseball Federation (Fedom) has announced Anderson Hernández as the manager of the team that will represent the country in the “V U-12 Baseball World Cup” presented by RAXUS. This prestigious event, organized by the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) and the Chinese Taipei Baseball Association (CTBA), will take place in the city of Tainan, Taiwan, from July 25 to August 3. The tournament will be played at the Tainan International Baseball Stadium and the Asia-Pacific Training Center (ASPAC) in Tainan. Hernández takes on this responsibility after revalidating his title as champion leader of the Caribbean Series Kids for the second consecutive year, demonstrating his worth in this category which is key in the world ranking.Núñez Nepomuceno added that they have high expectations for the team and that the goal is to win the championship in 2025.We are very pleased with this choice of Anderson Hernández to lead the Dominican team that will go to the U-12 World Cup, he is a person with proven experience, he has twice led the country to be crowned champion in the Caribbean Series Kids.

Technical Body and Preparation
Anderson Hernández will be accompanied in the technical staff by Cristopher Ynoa, Luis Rafael Ledesma, Amauris Batista and Emyi Capellán (coach). Cristian Pimentel will be the delegate and Mónica Fernández the subdelegate. The Dominican Republic team will depart on Friday, July 18th, for the United States for a series of practice games with the Astor Baseball team in Bruner Avenue, Bronx, New York, as part of their preparation. Subsequently, they will travel to Tainan, with arrival scheduled for Wednesday, July 23rd. The Dominican Republic’s debut in the U-12 World Cup was on July 25 against the Czech Republic.Tournament Format
The tournament will feature the participation of 12 nations, divided into two groups:- Group A: Australia (12), Cuba (10), Germany (17), Japan (1), Mexico (4) and Chinese Taipei (2).
- Group B: Czech Republic (15), Dominican Republic (11), Korea (6), Panama (8), South Africa (31) and United States.
