Alcaraz Consolidates His Position After Triumph at Roland Garros
The Spanish tennis player Carlos Alcaraz Garfia, after his outstanding victory in the Roland Garros final against Jannik Sinner, has maintained the 2,000 points obtained in Paris last year. This achievement, added to the revalidation of the title, allows him to stay close to the Italian, who continues to lead the ATP ranking.The distance between Alcaraz, number two in the world, and Sinner is 2,030 points, while he leads German Alexander Zverev, ranked third, by 2,465 points.
Alcaraz’s comeback, at 22 years old, was impressive. After losing the first two sets and facing three match points in the fourth, he managed to win with scores of 4-6, 6-7 (4), 7-6 (3), 6-4 and 7-6, securing the victory with a super tie break of 10-2.

Alcaraz consolidates as the king of the finals, with 20 victories in 26 played, showing a success percentage above 70 percent and 100 percent in the five Grand Slam matches he has played.
