Alcaraz aims for Wimbledon with his sights set on his sixth title of 2025
The Spanish tennis player Carlos Alcaraz Garfia is preparing for his participation in Wimbledon, where he will seek his sixth title of 2025 and the twenty-second of his professional career. The young player from Murcia, currently ranked number 2 in the ATP ranking, arrives at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in London as the fourth Spanish tennis player with the most titles on the circuit.
Alcaraz, who turned 22 on May 5th, is 1,130 points behind number 1, Italian Jannik Sinner. Recently, Alcaraz won his second title at Queen’s, adding his 21st victory in 27 finals played, consolidating his progress in the game and in his record.Although still far from the achievements of legends like Jimmy Connors, Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic, Ivan Lendl and Rafa Nadal, Alcaraz continues to climb positions in the historical ranking.
