Aguilas Cibaeñas Announce the Incorporation of Luis Liberato
Santiago, RD. – The Águilas Cibaeñas have announced the arrival of the experienced outfielder Luis Liberato, in a strategic move for the upcoming season of the Dominican Baseball League.
Liberato, 30 years old and originally from La Canela, arrives at the Cibao team bringing a complete profile that combines speed, high-level defense and a consistent offense, backed by his experience in Major Leagues and Asian baseball.
The operations management highlighted that Liberato is a player ready to contribute from day one.
“We acquired a player who impacts all aspects of the game. His offensive ability, defense, and aggressiveness on the bases raise the team’s level,” said the Eagles’ management.
Águilas Cibaeñas Management
The new member of the yellow team has a solid track record in Dominican winter baseball, accumulating 10 seasons and 251 games, in which he has 190 hits, 36 doubles and 10 triples.
In his most recent participation with the Toros del Este, he recorded a .321 average in the regular season, in addition to raising his performance in the postseason with .375, eight RBIs and an OPS close to .979.
Internationally, his time in the Korean league with the Hanwha Eagles reaffirmed his offensive evolution, batting .313 with 10 home runs, showing greater discipline at the plate and occasional power.

Liberato also represents a safe value in the gardens, with the ability to cover all three outfield positions. His game reading and powerful left arm make him a key element in limiting the offensive damage of rivals.
