The experienced infielder, Cristhian Adames, expressed his willingness to immediately join the ranks of the Águilas Cibaeñas. After being selected as a reinforcement in the Re-entry Draft of the Dominican Republic Professional Baseball League (LIDOM), Adames was optimistic about the start of the Round Robin.

The incorporation of Adames comes in the temporary absence of Gerardo Perdomo. The player expressed his gratitude for the opportunity and his desire to give his all in this new stage. Adames, at 34 years old, is preparing for his seventh Round Robin. His experience includes 83 games with a .268 average, 38 runs scored, 21 RBIs, and three home runs, playing for the Toros del Este, Águilas Cibaeñas, and Tigres del Licey. The Eagles’ Baseball Operations Manager, Gian Guzmán, highlighted Adames’ versatility and his ability to strengthen the infield. The Eagles selected Adames in the Draft, making a total of six selections, focusing on strengthening their pitching staff. The Round Robin will start this Saturday, with four teams competing for a place in the Final Series.
