Santo Domingo – The President of the Republic, Luis Abinader, led this Friday the traditional meeting with the outstanding Dominican baseball players of the Major Leagues. The meeting took place in the Green Hall of the National Palace, in a gesture of recognition for their outstanding career and the pride they represent for the nation. The initiative, driven by the Minister of Sports and Recreation, Kelvin Cruz, sought to honor the work of Dominican players who shine in the major leagues. Their talent, discipline, and commitment have taken the country’s name to the top of international baseball. During the event, President Abinader interacted closely and enthusiastically with the players, highlighting their role as ambassadors of the Dominican Republic and role models for youth.
