Abadina Announces Second Division Basketball Tournament in Honor of José Heredia Castillo
The National District Basketball Association (Abadina) has officially announced the celebration of the José Heredia Castillo Second Division Basketball Tournament. This sporting event will bring together 20 clubs from the National District and will be dedicated to the deputy mayor Starling Alcántara. The tournament will begin next Tuesday, the 24th of this month, at the facilities of the Mauricio Báez Club, an iconic setting for basketball in the capital. The official launch of the tournament took place in the James Rodríguez multipurpose hall of the Ministry of Sports of the Dominican Republic.
