Abinader Inaugurates Women’s Sports Games and Complex in Ciudad Juan Bosch

Santo Domingo Este, R.D. – In an event that symbolizes inclusion and a vision for the future, President Luis Abinader led the official inauguration of the Women’s Sports Games. The ceremony also marked the opening of the new Ciudad Juan Bosch sports complex, a project that redefines the landscape of women’s and community sports in the country. The president was accompanied by key figures from the government, including the Minister of the Presidency, José Ignacio Paliza; the Minister of Sports, Kelvin Cruz; and the Minister of Women, Gloria Reyes. They all agreed on the importance of this event as a firm step towards equity and the strengthening of national sports. The ceremony, held in the modern facilities of the sports complex, brought together athletes, coaches, and authorities. The opening was vibrant, with parades of female delegations and artistic presentations, culminating in the symbolic lighting of the torch that started the competitions.
