Aaron Judge, Yankees star, will participate in the 2026 World Cup draw
The New York Yankees’ star outfielder, Aaron Judge, joins the list of prominent personalities who will participate in the final draw for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. This crucial event will reveal the tournament groups, which for the first time will feature 48 national teams. The draw will take place this Friday at 12:00 p.m. ET in the American capital. The event will be led by Rio Ferdinand, former footballer and English football legend. The 2026 World Cup, jointly organized by the United States, Canada, and Mexico, will mark a milestone by being the first with 48 teams, distributed in 12 groups of four national teams each. The grand final will take place on July 19, 2026, at MetLife Stadium, located in East Rutherford, New Jersey, a short distance from Yankee Stadium. This year, Judge will also assume the role of captain of the United States team in the 2026 World Baseball Classic.I follow soccer closely, so being part of the World Cup draw is incredibly special.
