Advances in housing recovery after earthquakes in Venezuela
Venezuelan authorities have completed a major housing delivery initiative, benefiting 181 families residing in Caracas, Miranda, and Carabobo. These individuals had been affected by the seismic movements recently recorded in the national territory.
With this recent award, the total number of new homes delivered amounts to 709 units. In parallel, the comprehensive care plan has achieved the rehabilitation of another 1,800 homes, allowing dozens of families to return to normalcy in their homes after the structural damage suffered from natural phenomena.
Commitment to reconstruction
The Venezuelan government has emphasized that reconstruction and adaptation efforts for housing spaces continue in a sustained manner. The main objective is to restore the living conditions of all communities that suffered the impact of the earthquakes, prioritizing the safety and well-being of the citizens.
