Supplier associations support transparency in INABIE tenders
Various organizations representing suppliers and bidders of the School Feeding Program have expressed their recognition of the management of the National Institute of Student Welfare (INABIE). Under the executive direction of engineer Adolfo Pérez, the institution has been valued for the significant progress achieved in the bidding processes intended for the Extended School Day.
The support comes from key entities in the sector, including ASODOINA, UNSAE, ASOMIRD, ASOVE, SAEMP, ASUJEMON, ASOSAEBA, and ASOPROHEMI. These associations highlighted the scale of the process, which has established itself as one of the most extensive and complex public procurement exercises in the national territory.
Results of the award process
- Total participation: Approximately 2,644 registered bidders.
- Awards made: 1,740 suppliers selected.
The trade union organizations emphasized strict compliance with due process and the regulations detailed in the specifications. According to sector representatives, transparency has been a fundamental pillar in the current administration of INABIE.
