RTVD seals historic alliance with the RTVE Institute to elevate Dominican audiovisual quality
In an unprecedented milestone for its 74-year history, Radio Televisión Dominicana (RTVD) has formalized a strategic agreement with the RTVE Institute of Spain. This collaboration, promoted by the general director of the state broadcaster, Iván Ruiz, seeks to professionalize and raise the standards of the audiovisual industry in the Dominican Republic through the exchange of world-class knowledge and methodologies.
The alliance will allow both students and professionals in the field to access online training programs, taking advantage of the vast experience of more than five decades that the Spanish training center possesses. This institute is internationally recognized for its excellence in critical areas such as direction, screenwriting, production, technical realization, and new technologies applied to media.
Cutting-edge training for local talent
With this agreement, the Dominican audiovisual sector will have renewed tools to boost national production. The training offer is designed to integrate the best European practices, facilitating that local technicians, creatives, and producers remain at the technological and narrative forefront.
This agreement between both public communication institutions will allow for the expansion of the exchange of knowledge and experiences, strengthening the formative ties between Spain and the Dominican Republic.
