Flydubai flight incident: Passengers recount violent cockpit confrontation
A Flydubai flight operating the route between Dubai and Tel Aviv was forced to make an emergency landing in Saudi Arabia this Wednesday, following a serious altercation between crew members. According to testimonies from passengers on board, the incident escalated to levels of violence that required the intervention of travelers to safeguard the safety of the aircraft.
Through recordings shared on social media, a group of passengers can be seen guarding the cockpit area, where two pilots remained on the floor with signs of injuries and bloodstains. Witnesses claimed to have neutralized an alleged attacker to prevent him from continuing an assault that, according to reports, involved the use of a bladed weapon.
