National Police reinforces ethics and discipline in “Authority with Integrity” training session
With the goal of consolidating an institutional culture based on respect, ethics, and the responsible exercise of their duties, the National Police carried out the “Authority with Integrity” training program. This initiative, aimed at more than 700 officers assigned to the National District Regional Directorate, seeks to raise the standards of professionalism within the ranks of the law enforcement body.
The session, which was attended by 400 male and 300 female officers, was executed under the guidelines of the institution’s director general, Major General Ernesto R. Rodríguez García. The main focus of this training was the prevention of harassment and abuse of authority, ensuring that every uniformed officer acts under the principles of legality and respect for human dignity.
Interinstitutional collaboration to strengthen integrity
The event, coordinated by the regional director of the National District, General Gabriel De Los Santos García, had the key support of the Public Ministry. Magistrate Rosalba Ramos, head of said jurisdiction, led the ministerial representation that actively participated in the two days of training.
The panel of specialists in charge of instructing the agents was composed of magistrates Johanny Elizabeth López Vargas, Julia Vásquez, Mariela Mercedes Ramos Ventura, and Leydi Nayra García de la Cruz, who delved into the following key points:
- Strict prevention of harassment and abuse of power.
- Promotion of labor relations based on mutual respect.
- Rigorous compliance with current legal standards.
- Responsibility in the performance of police duties to maintain public trust.
