The MODA Party congratulates Luis Abinader and the new PRM leadership
The Democratic Alternative Party (MODA) has formally expressed its congratulations to President Luis Abinader and the members of the new leadership of the Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM). This recognition comes after the successful development of the XXIV Ordinary National Convention of the ruling organization.
Elsido Díaz, president of MODA, positively assessed the election of the new authorities, who were selected through a single slate by acclamation. This process reaffirms the command structure of the ruling party for the 2026-2030 cycle.
New PRM authorities
The new executive leadership of the PRM was formed by key figures of the national political scene:
- Luis Abinader, president of the party.
- Deligne Ascención, executive vice president.
- Juan Garrigó Mejía, secretary general.
- Gloria Reyes, national secretary of Organization.
Likewise, Díaz extended his congratulations to the leaders Milagros Ortiz Bosch, Eddy Olivares, Nelson Arroyo, and Salvador Ramos, who will assume the second, third, fourth, and fifth vice-presidencies, respectively.
The leadership of President Luis Abinader and the unity exhibited by the PRM during this conventional process are fundamental elements that contribute significantly to the strengthening of the democratic system in the Dominican Republic.
