PRM legislators hold strategic meeting with President Luis Abinader in Santiago

As part of his three-day work agenda in the Heart City, President Luis Abinader received a delegation of eleven deputies from the Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM) this Tuesday. The meeting, which took place at the president’s official residence located in the La Trinitaria sector, is part of the activities the head of state is carrying out after establishing his temporary office in Santiago.

The meeting was described by Deputy Mirna López as a discussion focused on strengthening direct communication between the Executive Branch and the legislative representatives of the region. The main objective is to address issues of high relevance for the development of Santiago and the Cibao area, reaffirming the Government’s commitment to this demarcation.

We hope it will be an affable, friendly conversation and that good things can come out of it, as the president’s visit to our city always constitutes.

López took the opportunity to highlight the support that, in his view, the current government administration has consistently provided to the province of Santiago, promoting various local initiatives.
