La Plaza Radio Show celebrates its first year consolidating high-level debate
The opinion and analysis program “La Plaza Radio Show” has celebrated its first anniversary, managing to position itself as a benchmark in the Dominican public debate. Under a dynamic that prioritizes argumentation and mutual respect, the space has demonstrated that it is possible to converge from diverse political and social ideologies in search of collective solutions for the country.
The proposal, which is broadcast from Monday to Friday in the morning schedule from 7:00 to 9:00 a.m. through La Clave 95.9 FM, Mega Visión Channel 2, and various digital platforms, celebrated its first 365 days on the air, reaffirming its commitment to responsible and empathetic communication.
Diversity as a pillar of growth
Deputy Carmen Ligia Barceló, a member of the panel, highlighted that the essence of “La Plaza” lies in the ability to disagree without falling into personal confrontations. For Barceló, opinion spaces have the responsibility to be an example for the citizenry, avoiding unnecessary noise and focusing on constructive contribution.
In the end, we don’t have to agree on everything, but we do have to agree that we have a commitment to the country. We need less hate and more empathy; we need to listen to each other.
