Katherine Caraballo debuts in micro-theater with a high social impact proposal
Renowned artist and communicator Katherine Caraballo adds a new milestone to her multifaceted professional career. With a solid background spanning dance, acting, and cultural management, Caraballo now ventures into the micro-theater format, taking on a leading role in the play titled Hágase la luz.
In this project, the artist shares the stage with actor Franquely Durán under the direction of Jean Sánchez and a script written by Pamela Herdíz. The piece is framed as an exercise in social denunciation that seeks to sensitize the viewer regarding institutional management and human dignity in the context of mental health and disabilities.
I am very excited to take on micro-theater for the first time. It is a very challenging stage because there is a one-on-one connection with the audience. But, above all, I am thrilled that this experience allows me to be part of a story that generates conversation about mental health and the need to look at people with mental disabilities with greater sensitivity and dignity.
