Death of a man in a La Vega hotel under investigation
The authorities of La Vega have initiated an exhaustive investigation following the discovery of a man without life in one of the rooms of the Pegasu hotel. The victim was identified as Jhosy Fría, a resident of the El Higüero sector.
According to preliminary reports, Fría arrived at the lodging establishment on a motorcycle. As it transpired, the now-deceased entered the room accompanied by a woman, an aspect that is part of the investigations being carried out by security agencies to clarify the event.
Forensic procedure details
The on-duty medical examiner arrived at the scene and performed a preliminary examination of the body. After the inspection, it was reported that the corpse showed no obvious signs of physical violence. However, the body was sent to the National Institute of Forensic Sciences (INACIF) to perform the legal autopsy, a study that will precisely determine the scientific cause of death.
A brother of the deceased suggested that Fría may have ingested a substance before losing his life, although this version has not yet been confirmed by the competent authorities.
