Consternation in Santo Domingo following the discovery of Loyca Alvarado’s body
Deep sorrow overwhelms the family and loved ones of 37-year-old Loyca Alvarado Adames following the confirmation of her passing. The young woman’s body was located this Monday in a wooded area near the Santo Domingo Beltway, in the vicinity of Haina, San Cristóbal province.
The victim had been reported missing since last Sunday, which mobilized her loved ones in a desperate search that culminated in the tragic discovery the following day. The event has caused great shock in the community, where neighbors will always remember her for her good character.

Regarding the circumstances of the discovery, the relatives indicated that, although they received information about the cause of death, they preferred not to view the body due to the delicate state in which it was found. For this reason, the family chose to hold the funeral services and burial in the strictest privacy.

The competent authorities have taken action to clarify this unfortunate event. As part of the investigations, the arrest of José Luis Fabián Rodríguez, Alvarado Adames’ former romantic partner, has been confirmed, who is currently in police custody for the corresponding legal purposes.
