Historical debate: Candidates for the presidency of the Dominican Olympic Committee will present their proposals
The sports landscape of the Dominican Republic is preparing for an unprecedented event. Producciones Diamante Deportivo has confirmed the holding of an official debate with the candidates to lead the Dominican Olympic Committee (COD), ahead of the elections scheduled for December 2nd.
This meeting will feature the participation of the four candidates seeking to preside over the entity: Gilberto García, Garibaldy Bautista, Luis Chanlatte, and José Mera. The main objective is for the candidates to present their management projects to the public, allowing Dominican society to learn firsthand about the visions that will guide the future of the national Olympic movement.
We have already spoken with the four candidates for the presidency of the COD. We will make history; it will be something novel. It is always good for the different candidates to be able to show their proposals to the public, and for not only the federations to know their plans, but also for the country to be able to learn more about the Olympic Committee.
