Carlo Ancelotti begins tour of Europe to define the future of the Brazilian National Team
Brazil’s national team coach, Carlo Ancelotti, has embarked on a strategic tour of major European stadiums. The main objective is to closely evaluate the performance of various Brazilian footballers who are emerging as candidates to join the next Canarinha squad, ahead of the international challenges approaching in September and October.
During his stay in France, the Italian strategist witnessed the duel between Lille and Paris Saint-Germain. In this match, he kept a close eye on the defensive performance of Marquinhos, Beraldo, and Alexsandro Ribeiro. The day had an emotional and professional tone, as Ancelotti shared the box with his son, Davide Ancelotti, who took technical command of Lille in the 2-2 draw against the Parisian side.
Detailed tracking in the Premier League
The coach’s schedule continued in London, where he attended the clash between Tottenham and Newcastle. The intention was to observe figures like Richarlison and Savinho up close. Ancelotti’s European tour also includes a stop at Stamford Bridge for the match between Chelsea and Brighton, where he plans to analyze the form of attackers João Pedro and Estêvão, as well as defender Igor Julio.
These days in Europe are important for our work thinking about the upcoming commitments. We want to have as much information as possible before the call-up and continue building our team. Every opportunity to be close to the players is part of that process.
