Alleged perpetrator of femicide in San José de los Llanos turns himself in

The National Police confirmed that Morbe Louis Bosica, 50, turned himself in to the authorities to answer for the death of his ex-partner, Alicia Antonia Pierrete, 31. The tragic event took place in the municipality of San José de los Llanos, San Pedro de Macorís province, and is currently under deep investigation by security agencies.

The citizen presented himself voluntarily at the headquarters of the National Police Palace, accompanied by his relatives. There, he was received by Colonel Diego Pesqueira, spokesperson for the institution, who assured that respect for the fundamental rights of the detainee will be guaranteed throughout the entire process.

Ongoing judicial process

Following his surrender, the authorities have initiated the corresponding legal procedures to place Bosica at the disposal of justice. According to the institution, the accused will be transferred to the jurisdiction of San Pedro de Macorís, where he must face the judicial process for the acts attributed to him.

The detainee will be placed at the disposal of the competent authorities for the corresponding procedures, in accordance with current legal regulations.
