Marks revealed that Zilisch signed a multi-year contract to compete full-time with Trackhouse next year. Zilisch, who competed in karting from childhood, turned professional in 2021. Since then, he has accumulated successes in various series, including victories in the 24 Hours of Rolex and the 12 Hours of Sebring in 2024, as well as five ARCA races and two poles in the NASCAR Truck Series. Currently, he leads the Xfinity series points standings and has proven his worth with JR Motorsports, with eight wins in 27 races and 12 consecutive top-five finishes.
