The wife of NASCAR driver Tyler Reddick reported on Sunday that their 4-month-old son is in the cardiovascular intensive care unit of a hospital in North Carolina. Alexa Reddick announced via social media that doctors are focused on improving the “cardiac function” of Rookie, the couple’s second child, born in May. In her post, Alexa recounted that she had been seeking medical attention for Rookie for a while, without getting clear answers about what seemed to be “signs of heart failure that were being overlooked”.
