Kyle Larson Wins at Bristol with Special Dedication
In an emotional race marked by the duel, Kyle Larson took the victory at the Bristol Motor Speedway, showing exceptional performance and dedicating the triumph to the memory of his friend, Jon Edwards.
Larson, visibly motivated, led most of the race, demonstrating a superiority that allowed him to cross the finish line in first place. This triumph represents his second victory of the season and the thirty-first in his Cup career.
This victory is definitely for Jon. He was a great guy and we are going to miss him. I wish he were here with us to celebrate, but I know he is celebrating with us in spirit.

You have to give that team and Kyle credit for their performance. It was a dominant performance. It seemed like an almost perfect day for him.

The current Cup champion, Joey Logano, was recognized with the Pocono Spirit Award from the National Motorsports Press Association for his work in helping the victims of Hurricane Helene.
A crisis like that presented a great opportunity for all of us to come together and impact some people whose lives had just been ruined. It’s a very hard thing.
