Hamlin First Part in NASCAR Final: Will He Achieve the Title?

Hamlin seeks to be crowned in the NASCAR final

Denny Hamlin, in his twentieth full season, is positioned to break the record for the best NASCAR driver without a championship. Hamlin earned the pole position at Phoenix Raceway, in the NASCAR championship final. The Cup will be contested between Hamlin, his teammate at Joe Gibbs Racing, Chase Briscoe, and William Byron and Kyle Larson, from Hendrick Motorsports. Hamlin will lead the final race of a season in which he obtained six victories, the most in the series. His victory in Las Vegas last month was the 60th of his career, securing him a place in the final and giving him three weeks of preparation.

I think the benefit was winning in Las Vegas because I was able to get a lot of work done before this week. That way, this week isn’t so full.

Hamlin

Hamlin has maintained calm and tranquility, preparing as he would for any other race in Phoenix. He will have the support of a group of friends and family who will share three rental houses in the area. After Hamlin achieved a lap at 133.759 mph in his Toyota, obtaining the first place on the grid, the Hamlin-supporting fans are optimistic. Hamlin has lost the championship at least six times. Larson is the only driver in the group with a title, while Byron, two-time Daytona 500 winner, returns to the final for the third consecutive year. Briscoe will make his debut in the title race. Byron and Larson finished second and third, respectively. Briscoe finished 12th.

I feel that, honestly, it was a very bad lap that I did. I was a little surprised that it was even 12th to some extent.

On several occasions, Hamlin has been close to the championship, but has not achieved victory. His competitors recognize that a championship for Hamlin would be well received.

Everyone likes a story like that, where someone is nearing the end of their career, all that, I can see why people would cheer for it.

Larson

Briscoe added: “I think it would be a shame, wouldn’t it?, if when he decides to hang it up, he were the best of all time who has never won, wouldn’t it? I think everyone knows he’s more than capable.” Hamlin faces the championship race after a crew chief change in the offseason. Despite his initial reservations, the new crew chief, Gayle, has adapted quickly, and could now be the crew chief who finally leads Hamlin to the title.

There are four really good cars, really good teams, really good team principals. I just want to win the race and be the champion.

Hamlin, with 60 wins, tied for 10th on the all-time wins list. He wants to win the championship, in part, so his father, who has a serious health problem, can see it.
