Hamlin, who currently shares tenth place on the NASCAR wins list with Kevin Harvick, couldn’t contain his excitement after an intense battle in the last ten laps. He managed to overtake Kyle Larson and his JGR teammate, Chase Briscoe, to secure the victory.Hamlin revealed that this victory was especially significant for his 75-year-old father, who introduced him to the world of motorsports from a young age and has been a constant support throughout his career. In the last pit stop, Hamlin opted for new tires and, after a close competition, managed to overtake Joey Logano and then Larson, to finally snatch the lead from Briscoe.
