In an exciting race at Martinsville Speedway, William Byron achieved a crucial victory that secured him a spot in the NASCAR Cup Series Championship 4. Byron, driving the No. 24 Chevrolet for Hendrick Motorsports, executed a decisive maneuver with 43 laps to go, overtaking Ryan Blaney and taking the lead. The driver led most of the race, with 304 of 500 laps, adding his third victory of the season.This victory marks Byron’s first in a playoff elimination race and his third at Martinsville. After a period of challenges, Byron demonstrated his resilience and determination.
