Although the UFC has not yet made any official announcement nor confirmed the date, the event is expected to take place in the South Garden and is planned in anticipation of the 250th anniversary of American Independence. UFC CEO Dana White has revealed significant details about the event. The official weigh-ins are expected to take place at the Lincoln Memorial, and just replacing the White House lawn after the event will cost $700,000. White has also mentioned that the fighters will walk towards the Octagon from the Oval Office. Also, White has stated that the UFC will not begin booking fights for the event until the first quarter of 2026. The former two-division champion, Conor McGregor, has expressed his interest in facing American Michael Chandler at this event. Also, Jon Jones, who retired from MMA earlier this year as one of the best fighters of all time, has expressed his desire to return specifically for this card.
