UFC Confirms Event at the White House for 2026

UFC CEO Dana White announced that the organization will hold a live event at the White House on July 4, 2026. The news was confirmed via a video posted on social media on Thursday. President Donald Trump was the one who initially proposed the idea of a UFC event in the White House gardens, as part of the celebration of the country’s 250th anniversary.

“It was a great day. I’m about to take off from Washington, D.C. The White House event is confirmed. I will have more details in the coming weeks. We did it today.”

Trump maintains a close relationship with White and is a fervent UFC follower. In the last month, White has avoided answering questions about the possible fights that could be part of the event. Prominent figures in the sport, such as Conor McGregor and Jon Jones, have publicly expressed their interest in participating. Regarding Jones’ participation, White estimated the chances at “a billion to one”, due to his recent retirement and his history outside the octagon.
