Revealed Fight Card for Jake Paul vs. Anthony Joshua on December 19th

Most Valuable Promotions has announced the preliminary fights for the highly anticipated matchup between Jake Paul and Anthony Joshua, scheduled for December 19th at the Kaseya Center in Miami. The event will be streamed live via Netflix. The fight card, which was originally planned for Paul’s fight with Gervonta Davis, largely remains the same. Alycia Baumgardner will defend her unified super featherweight title against Leila Beaudoin, serving as the co-main event. However, a notable change is the absence of Anderson Silva vs. Chris Weidman on the main card. Instead, Tyron Woodley will face Silva in a six-round cruiserweight bout. Both Silva and Woodley have suffered defeats against Paul in the past. Silva lost by unanimous decision to Paul in 2022, while Woodley lost both fights against “The Problem Child”, one by split decision in August 2021 and the other by knockout in the rematch in December of the same year.

The preliminary card will also include the defense of Cherneka “Sugar Neekz” Johnson’s undisputed bantamweight title against Amanda Galle, Yokasta Valle defending her WBC strawweight title against Yadira Bustillos, and Avious Griffin facing Justin Cardona in a welterweight bout. Keno Marley, a two-time Brazilian Olympian, will make his professional debut in a four-round cruiserweight bout against Diarra Davis. The WBA super lightweight title fight between champion Gary Antuanne Russell and Andy Hiraoka is no longer part of the card.
