Revealed Fight Card for Jake Paul vs. Anthony Joshua

Most Valuable Promotions has announced the preliminary fights for the highly anticipated matchup between Jake Paul and Anthony Joshua, scheduled for December 19th at the Kaseya Center in Miami. The event, which promises to be a high-caliber spectacle, will be streamed live via Netflix. The fight card, which was originally planned for the Paul vs. Gervonta Davis fight, maintains much of its original structure. Alycia Baumgardner will defend her unified super featherweight title against Leila Beaudoin in the co-main event. However, a significant change has occurred. Anderson Silva will not face Chris Weidman at the start of the main card. Instead, Tyron Woodley, also a former UFC champion, will face Silva in a six-round cruiserweight bout. Both Silva and Woodley have suffered defeats against Paul in the past. Silva lost by unanimous decision to Paul in 2022, while Woodley fell to “The Problem Child” twice: once by split decision in August 2021 and again by knockout in December of the same year.

I believe that changes always happen for a reason. I am focused on doing a good job, always respecting my opponent and showing total respect for the world of boxing.

Anderson Silva
Weidman was forced to withdraw from the fight against Silva due to an injury. Woodley, who was the UFC welterweight champion from 2016 to 2019, seeks his first boxing victory against one of the most prominent champions in the history of mixed martial arts.

Moments like this arise, where legends are born.

In the preliminary card, Cherneka “Sugar Neekz” Johnson will defend her undisputed bantamweight title against Amanda Galle. In addition, Yokasta Valle will put her WBC strawweight title on the line against Yadira Bustillos, and Avious Griffin will face Justin Cardona in a welterweight bout. Two-time Brazilian Olympian Keno Marley will make his professional debut in a four-round cruiserweight bout against Diarra Davis. The WBA super lightweight title fight between champion Gary Antuanne Russell and Andy Hiraoka is no longer part of the card. Anderson Silva vs. Tyron Woodley is an iconic matchup, continuing to elevate the Jake vs. Joshua: Judgment Day event to one of the most exciting combat sports events of the decade. This is the gladiatorial sports spectacle of the 21st century. A main event that has captivated the entire world. Bringing back two of the MMA GOATS to the spotlight on a global stage, live on Netflix, reflects the magnitude of this card. The night of December 19th promises to be unforgettable for boxing fans.
