Raja Jackson, Son of Rampage Jackson, Arrested for Assault on Professional Wrestler
Raja Jackson, son of former UFC champion Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, was arrested and faces charges of aggravated assault following a violent attack on a professional wrestler. According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department website, Jackson was arrested and booked Thursday morning. He is currently in custody with bail set at $50,000. So far, no further details about the pending case have been revealed. The arrest comes nearly a month after Jackson, 25, was caught on video assaulting professional wrestler Stuart Smith (also known as Syko Stu) at the KnokX Pro Wrestling Academy in Los Angeles. During the incident, Jackson entered the ring, hit Smith leaving him unconscious and continued to hit him. Several other fighters eventually separated Jackson from Smith. Jackson then fled the academy, located in the Sun Valley neighborhood of Los Angeles. The attack was live-streamed and widely disseminated on social media. Smith spent several days in intensive care before being discharged on August 31. He later detailed the injuries sustained from the unplanned assault on Facebook, where he mentioned a “serious head injury,” as well as “trauma to both jaws, a laceration on the upper lip, and a fracture to the maxilla, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of several teeth.” Jackson’s father condemned the attack on social media and suggested that his son be punished for his actions.I think he should spend some time in jail. Also, perform community service and attend anger management classes, as well as receive therapy.
