Tragic Death: Suman Mokhtarian, Former UFC Fighter, Dies in an Attack
The mixed martial arts (MMA) world is in mourning following the murder of Suman Mokhtarian, former UFC fighter and renowned coach. Australian authorities are investigating the incident that took place in Sydney. Mokhtarian, 33, was the victim of an attack on Wednesday afternoon while walking in Riverstone. Emergency services attended the scene, but despite efforts, the wrestler passed away. Mokhtarian competed in the UFC in 2018 and 2019 before turning to coaching. He was a key figure in the development of MMA talent at the Australian Top Team, alongside his brother Ashkan Mokhtarian. The police have established a crime scene and are investigating the circumstances of the shooting. Authorities reported that a man was found with gunshot wounds and that, despite medical attention, he died at the scene.
