Tsarukyan Climbs Lightweight Rankings After Dominating Hooker at UFC Fight Night
Fighter Arman Tsarukyan proved his worth once again, reminding fans why he is one of the best lightweights in the world. Tsarukyan submitted Dan Hooker in the main event of UFC Fight Night in Doha, Qatar. The victory was crucial for Tsarukyan, who had not competed in the octagon for more than a year and a half. The triumph allowed him to regain his position in the ESPN ranking, climbing to number 2 in the 155-pound division. Regarding other movements in the rankings, Ian Machado Garry advanced from number 5 to number 4 in welterweight after his victory over Belal Muhammad. Muhammad, on the other hand, dropped three positions, placing sixth.Below, we present the pound-for-pound MMA rankings and the list of current UFC champions in all weight categories.
The results are current and the rankings correspond to November 25th. To be eligible for the ranking, a fighter must have competed in the last 12 months or have a scheduled fight. Fighters who have been excluded for inactivity can only be reinstated after competing.
